- English description: Politician of extreme left party Linkspartei, Bodo Ramelow, uttered a wooly argument whereby German Democratic Republic (1949-1990) had not been a free government under the law but indeed not a lawless state, as there had been e.g. a labor legislation. A double-negation toying, hair-splitting differentiation, an attempt to attach positive labels on GDR history hoping that the horrible details get lost from the collective mind. The existence of a codified law does not mean necessarily that jurisdiction judges accordingly to these laws. In GDR's constitution the freedom of speech was written down but that freedom in reality was not worth the paper it was printed on. Even the name of this state was a lie, GDR was not democratic at all. Ramelow's attempt to make up GDR's history by dropping positive wording is disgusting. Balloon Richard Williamson, bishop in catholic pius-brotherhood: Holocaust?! I say! Balloon Bodo Ramelow: GDR was by no means not at all no lawless state.
